LEAF Wraparound (Love-Based Education for Adoptive Families) is a love-based, trauma-responsive adoption wraparound program of Parents in Training Inc. that supports adoptive families across the 20 counties we serve in Northern and Central California.
When a family is supported, a child can heal.
We are a Parents In Training Inc. program. We have developed an Adoption Wraparound Service with a love-based unique methodology. This is an intense trauma-responsive educational program for adoptive parents on how to better understand and care for their adopted child.
Wraparound means the help comes to your family instead of your child going somewhere else. A team forms around you, made up of people from our program and people you already trust, and together you build one plan. Your child stays home.

High Fidelity Wraparound is California’s team-based model for children with complex needs. Instead of sending your child somewhere else for help, a team forms around your family, and it includes people you choose yourself.
Your Child and Family Team
A Facilitator who leads the team, a Family Specialist, a Parent Partner who has lived what you are living, and the relatives, neighbors or teachers you want in the room. They meet together, not separately.
One Care Plan
Not a folder of referrals. One plan, built on what your family already does well, that everyone on the team works from and reviews with you.
Four Phases, Then We Step Back
Engagement, Plan Development, Implementation, Transition. The goal is your family holding this without us, with supports that stay after we are gone.

Your child at home, with a team around your family.

Our Services
For your family to stay together, and for your child to stay home.
We do that by giving parents the education, the team, and the plan that makes it possible. A Child and Family Team forms around you, you build one Care Plan together, and the team stays until your family can carry it without us.
